I deleted my whole site

The old systemctl.cloud was twenty-two interactive simulations — aurora, blackholes, a double-slit experiment — all rendered in a single page of hand-written canvas code. It was fun to build and nobody read it, including me.

So it's gone, in one command:

$ git rm -r aurora blackhole boids dns doubleslit enigma ...
$ ls
index.html  style.css  posts/

What replaces it is this: somewhere to write. History I've been reading about, work notes when something breaks, and whatever else I end up chasing. Not a tech blog with a theme to stay on — a personal one.

The simulations aren't deleted-deleted — they're one git revert away if I miss them. I don't think I will.
